Be the change.  Easy to say, but hard to do because the world is designed to maintain the status quo, to make change hard by making it seem radical, offensive, crackpot, weird.

Still, there is no other choice.  Either we are the change we need, or that change won’t happen.

As a woman with a transgender history, crossing the boundaries across no-mans/no-womans land, walking though barriers we are taught to see as real, I know the challenges of change.
